Insecurity is a poison. It has a tendency to strangle us, limit us and defeat us when we are exposed to something or someone who is inspirational. Instead of being able to draw inspiration from the talent we see in others, we find ourselves trapped in the rut of comparison. We compare our talent to others. We put ourselves down. We convince ourselves we are not enough. We give up.
Insecurity is internally destructive.
Then there's the external. When we deconstruct our own confidence it causes us to have a distaste to those who are gifted and talented. We judge them. We envy them. We try to bring them down with us. Insecurity is also externally destructive.
Can you relate?
This is a familiar phenomenon for so many of us. My challenge for you today is to "be inspired without becoming insecure". To live without regrets, we must live freely.. and to live freely we must release our insecurities.
You are valued. You are important. You have something to offer to this world. Don't hold back. Be secure in who you are. Be able to value what others offer. Be inspired so that you can inspire others!
I love this !! totally relatable !
