Valentines Month

Why settle for one day when you can have an entire month of Valentines celebration? I mean whats better than celebrating love with tasty treats? We are not rushing this holiday this year..

My dear friends are engaged and I couldn't be happier for them. God has a heavy hand in determining the fate of our loved ones and it is clear that he designed these two for each other. It was such a blast doing this session with them. These two are both incredible people that I love so much and I was truly blessed to do their session for them.

Madison's Newborn Session

I was blessed to capture this beautiful little girl Madison. In these photos, she is nine days new. Squishy, cozy and oh so cuddly. She had my baby fever running high!

Big love in a little package

It's been almost a month since I've been behind the lens so I took some just for fun shots of my favorite girl right before valentines day to keep from getting too rusty. I love this crazy ray of sunshine more than she will ever know. She's only been around for four years but she has managed to make a lasting impression on my heart that feels like a whole lifetime's worth of love. She's silly and rambunctious. She's wild and fearless but also insightful and wise beyond her years. She loves company but is also oh so independent. She's witty and clever and way too smart for her own good.  She's a caring big sister and she tells the best knock knock jokes you've ever heard. She's never still, always moving, usually singing and putting on a show. She walks to the beat of her own drum, with confidence. She's my kind of girl and I adore everything about her.

I love you sweetness! Thanks for being the world's most squirmiest model ;) You keep us on our toes!

Yosemite Trip

Erick and I spent our Valentines Day in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been this year. We spent four days in Yosemite which wasn't nearly enough to see everything this incredible place has to offer but we did our best to see as much as possible. Giant redwoods, endless waterfalls, gorgeous views, perfect weather, patches of snow and cute cozy cabins. It was a trip we will never forget and I can't wait to go back in the summertime.
